Meh, don't see what all the fuss is about.
Any resemblance to an enterprise is superficial at best, honestly don't even see why they would need CBS permission.
I honestly wouldn't see the resemblance unless someone pointed it out to me.

CBS is really particular on how they like their intellectual property used but I wouldn't see a problem here. People do it all the time. Heck, if someone built a real working Enterprise CBS isn't going to sue them. That's like suing NASA for naming the prototype shuttle "Enterprise" which was influenced by the 1701. Anyways, yeah, I don't really see the resemblance to any of the Enterprises. It could pass for a Starfleet ship but no Enterprise looked liked that from the outside.
