I wouldn't expect much mate. But consider the inevitable; we can play a Romulan from 1-50. I'm returning for that at least.

Ive saved up my stipend as a lifetimer to get my hands on the retrofit D'deridex and Refit versions for ship and the consoles.

Are you planning to fly her or just strip her down? I'm flying her even if she's ineffective.

Fly her of course, I even have a Fleet Ship Module sitting in my bank with her name on it.
The D'deridex is the only Romulan ship worth having and ever will be.

I could not agree more. I know tanking is virtually unfeasible in STO (I levelled a tank in The Old Republic and I'm a better tank than dps it turns out) but I think I'll be going Engineering nonetheless.

Well tanking works pretty well, right up until you encounter a squadron of science defiants that subnuke the crap out of you.

My main fed is an Engineer, my main KDF is a tac, so I think I will be rolling my Romulan as a Science officer.

The taking damage part of tanking was fine from my recollection of STO, but I remember threat holding being a lot more random. Is it improved?
