The old familiar warmth that the forums bring will seep back into your bones until you can resist no longer. You can feel it already. It's not wee, for once.

I don't expect I shall return, in fact I mean not to. I'm too busy with real life; with reading, with writing philosophical essays and enjoying the green grass, the little rivers and the blue sky. After all, I think that the purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer personal growth and experiences. I believe that half the trouble in the world comes from people asking 'What have I achieved?' rather than 'What have I enjoyed?'. Live a good life. In the end it's not the years in a life, but the life in the years!

May the road rise up to meet you all and may the wind be ever at your backs. May the sun shine warm upon your faces and the rain fall softly on your fields. Until we may meet again, gentlemen!

I completely agree Shroombuck, very well said. I often forget about that truth. I have always had the philosophy that you have one life to surpass yourself and give a meaningful contribution to this world. I often forget to just stop and enjoy life for it's experiences and stop caring about this enormous weight that is destiny.

That being said:

Well, peace and security, order and freedom are the deepest political needs of all societies. These four things are what all people want from government. When these are obtained, people can themselves pursue the natural human goal of individual happiness.
