If you see it from a broader point of view, none of the games really have a point. It's about entertainment. I mean masses play FPS games, there is no point in most of those games, except maybe shooting at people.
Different games for different tastes, whatever entertains you...
If anyone should be shot it is those who create/watch reality TV :P
