I was checking out the VKF forums and i found this link. I'm not sure i agree with some of them though. But each to his own.

I think if you really want to role play star trek and follow the cannon you still need to use your own imagination and own ideas on how things worked or would work. That is truly a logical answer to things.. Interesting article though. I should pick up my subscription to playboy again and "read" the articles
